Can You Find A Soulmate or Marriage Partner Without Even Trying?

I’ll tell you- I’ve been through trainings, classes, and lots of healing work, and for a while, the idea of finding the perfect partner eluded me.  I thought I was too busy to find a soulmate, had too high of standards, and even that my travel was preventing me from finding someone great.

Friends told me I should online date, I shouldn’t work so much.  I also believed I couldn’t have a successful relationship and a successful business at the same time. Then, in my EFT Tapping Relationship Coaching Training, I learned not only how to help heal past relationship challenges, how to release those limiting beliefs, but also how to identify 5 SOLID traits I need my person to hold in order for me to even consider continuing to date them.  And, the grace to let them go if they aren’t a good fit so we both don’t waste time and energy pursuing a relationship when we both have better partners waiting for us elsewhere.

What Is A Soulmate?

First, let’s define a soulmate. It’s an intimidating word to some and it implies that there’s only one perfect person out there for you aligned by destiny. But really, it’s about finding deep levels of compatibility. Understanding, communicating, and focusing on (think manifesting) those traits in someone else that you must absolutely have to be happy.  Knowing that they treat you like the king or the queen that you are, and that there’s a deep level of intimacy on all levels. It’s hard to find ANYTHING if you don’t know what you are looking for, especially a partner.

Sound Too Good To Be True?

I ran into an article in Seventeen magazine that said soulmates aren’t born– they’re created.

It’s true, all relationships require work. However, being with a person who already aligns with you at a deep level makes things unbelievably easy. Trust me on this one! Successful graduates (including me) echo how easy it is to be with their significant other.  

Traits In A Partner

If you are looking for a partner who is trustworthy and financially stable, has a nice smile and likes doing the things that you are doing–you are completely missing the boat and setting your bar very low. What if your perfect partner is on their way to financial stability or wealth?  What if they don’t like doing exactly what you do, but love and encourage you to do those things and you find other things you love doing together?

Some sites out there will say that you will just feel it in your gut and know. You will know because they’re your best friend, they feel like home, there’s respect, and you balance each other out. They are not wrong, and yet… there could be someone that feels that way, and is truly just supposed to be a good friend. (Trust me- I’ve been down that path at least twice.)
